Gavin is a descendent of the Tagalaka people from Gulf Country in north-west Queensland. With over 10 years’ experience, he has a background in delivering positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities including workforce development, engagement and communications and advocacy. Gavin is a diversity, equity and inclusion champion, helping national health care and aged care organisations to embed community impact and inclusion practices that create a stronger culture and is currently the Executive Manager – First Nations Strategy and Outcomes with Uniting NSW/ACT.
